FROM: POA Board
It is time once again to starting planning for the opening of the park. Everyone is ready for the 2012 camping season.
This memo is to let you, as property owners, know that the Board is working very hard to have everything ready for
park opening in March. The board is in the process of reviewing applications for potential park employees.  Our hope
is to hire a group of employees that can work well together and also relate well to property owners to make for an
enjoyable season.
The Board’s main objective is to set a realistic budget for 2012 and reasonable assessments so the park can remain
open the entire camping season. You are all aware that the park was not able to remain open in 2011, which was due
to a lack of funds.  The board is hoping to avoid this problem for 2012. However the board can not accomplish this
alone. It will take the work and support of the entire park and all property owners.  It will also take each and every
property owner paying their assessments and paying them in a timely manner so that funds are available to get things
started in the park. As you know, we closed the year with very little money left over.
We are also asking all property owners to make sure your lot and block number is visible on your “camper and your
electric box”. This will insure that the correct meters are read and holding tanks are emptied.  Lot and block numbers
are also required on all 4-wheelers, golf carts, etc.
In 2011, the board formed a committee to contact property owners that had abandoned their property. We are happy
to report  there was considerable response. Several property owners that have not been in the park for several years
have promised to maintain their property in the future. The board also received some lots by Quit Claim Deeds from
property owners that were not interested in returning to the park. These lots will be available for sale, so if you have
friends or family interested in becoming a property owner, they can contact us at www.riverbendparkhardy.com or email
@ riverbendparkhardy@yahoo.com .
Electric meters will be read around the 25th of each month after park is open and bills will be kept at the main guard
shack for one weekend after they are printed. Those left at guard shack will be mailed out the following week. Please
remember to check with gate attendant or other park employee to see if you have a bill in order to help cut down on
postage.
We also ask that if you have sold your property or plan to sell in the future please notify the park so that proper
changes can be made in our accounting system.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact the Board thru the website. We will endeavor to answer your
questions.  LOOKING FORWARD TO A NEW AND BETTER YEAR!!!
